Why Start Coaching With Me?
My clients (you can see what my clients say about their coaching experiences right here) come from different backgrounds, countries, and of course different social and economic circumstances and situations.
I reserve up to 90 minutes for my clients for each coaching session. Most coaches do 60 minute coaching sessions - some less than that. This time together enables us to coach, to discuss, to plan, and to build our coaching relationship.
I also provide an email follow up after each session. Most coaches do not do follow up emails. This helps my clients clarify what we did, and builds on the insights in the coaching session.
I don't count minutes either. Why? I don't cut sessions short when we are both in the flow and getting great results - and that is regardless of whether or not we go 'overtime' so to speak.
Experience has shown me that coaching is not linear. Those aha! or eureka or light bulb moments, can happen in an instant, and they can unearth and generate new insights and awareness.
At these high alert times so to speak, minutes give way to momentum. That is, when there are times of high energy, and the flow of realisation and revelation is peaking, then we need to capitalise on those moments together as coach and client.
And price and payment? Many coaches charge high hourly fees before or even if value is realised or understood.
It's my belief that value is something that needs to be demonstrated before payment... or paying it forward.
Value needs to be evident. It needs to be tangible. It needs to be able to be measured - both quantitatively and qualitatively.
I structure coaching sessions via a value for value pricing approach. What does this mean and how does it work?
In simple speak, my clients pay me based on their results and the value they perceive or have realised as a result of our coaching together.
I cannot tell my clients they have experienced value - only they know what value means, what it looks like, and is, for them.
Importantly, I am investing in my clients as much as they are investing in me - my client investment needs to be a sound decision for the quality of my coaching and my business.
I choose to coach with my clients as much as they choose to coach with me. We invest in each other.
Just like you may want to work with a great coach, I want to work and play with great clients.
No sales pitches here. If you are motivated to change and improve your life then I certainly do not need to talk you into life coaching!
Entering coaching and a coaching relationship is a decision you must make alone.
For clients who are finding it hard to make ends meet, or are in difficult situations, on occasion, I provide selected pro bono opportunities for coaching sessions via a donation or service that they choose to designate (conditions apply).
This is my way of ensuring people who genuinely want to get coached get an opportunity to access coaching with me, and get an opportunity to experience what coaching with a professional life coach is about.
This is also a further demonstration of my personal and professional values and my genuine approach to make life coaching accessible to ALL people. That is, life coaching for me is a lifestyle choice and a way of life - coaching is NOT just a 'job' for me.
That said, 'free' services, or discounted services, are rarely ever valued by customers - and as I like to say, you often get what you don't pay for in life!
As a professional coach, I am looking to work with people who understand value, and who are prepared to acknowledge that value, and pay for - and/or pay it forward - that value accordingly - to be clear, my coaching is not a discount service, it is a service that builds on trust and integrity where a client chooses to enable and empower themselves.
I don't think there should be any barriers - or excuses/reasons not to have access to a professional life coach.
With that access comes responsibility and expectation. In short, I coach with people who are clearly motivated and inspired to improve their lives. Coaching works better that way.
Coaching is about you and your needs. Packages can be tailor made and developed to suit your needs and circumstances above and beyond my stated value for value pricing approach.
What I ask my clients to do is to make a commitment to themselves and to their coaching - cocreation works best that way.
The best processes and outcomes happen when we work together as a team.
Think of it as putting your life into coaching - not putting coaching into your life.
My intention is to help you get back in connection with who it is you are - and who it is you are wanting to become. Our coaching relationship is one of equals. I am here to serve you and help you to help yourself.
I encourage and guide you to start stepping up and taking your power back (if you indeed need to...) and to start taking ownership of your life.
In fact my aim is to do myself out of a job! Whilst some of my clients continue with coaching catch ups and ongoing sessions, some clients simply want to achieve a goal or an aspiration, and have a clear idea about what they want and how long they want to do coaching.
I encourage you to take control (and this is from the get go in our sessions) and to start making moves in your life that are truly aligned to who you are, and what you want to do.
It is these behaviours, and seemingly small steps, that help you regain control of your life.
If you can start or begin to develop these behaviours in a coaching session, then that is the beginning of what you can take out into the world.
It is about you feeling excited and passionate about your life again - so you start living more and moving away from the drudgery of existing and reacting to life as it is happening to you.
I will support and encourage you throughout our coaching relationship - so call me today and let's get started!
- Ask me about my 1-7 day coaching packages. Coaching in your own home, or a designated location, together we have a wonderful opportunity to improve your life on so many levels. Please note that these sessions are clearly limited and are conditional on my personal availability.
- Maybe my speed coaching laser sessions might suit your needs? - these are ideal as top ups or reviews for existing clients (I do not recommend these for new clients) who have worked with me over a long period of time who want to touch base and reconnect to their goals and aspirations. These work particularly well for those who have completed earlier sessions and are looking to stay connected and to keep moving forward in their lives. Generally these sessions are around 20-30 minutes.
- Coaching sessions are conducted in person (when and where available), via Skype, telephone or email messaging.
- Payment is via my value for value pricing model.
- Email/text message coaching communications are additional to my sessions sessions - special requirements can be made for this style of coaching approach. This style of coaching can work really well for those not comfortable with face to face or voice communication, or for those clients who want real time communication across a number of mediums.
- Please note that I choose to work with people who are genuinely looking to change their lives and are willing to work with me to achieve their goals. Cocreating your life = commitment and collaboration from you. I am passionate and determined to help you help you!
